With
my wonderful OH finally retired, we took time to simply relax. We started out going
to one of our favorite restaurants, which I forgot to mention in my previous up
date. On Monday, we started going to our local senior center for lunch. In the
afternoon on Wednesday we went to the movies and saw the final installment of
“The Hobbit,” small on dialogue but HUGE on action. Wednesdays are a great day
to go there since they only charge Seniors $6.00 to see any movie.
With
my Shelfari reading target of 50 books met for last year, remember I only
announced my becoming a Book Reviewer at the end of August/beginning of
September, I’m setting my first goal there at 125 books to read/review this
year. This is also one of my New Year’s Resolutions for this year, after
finally keeping my resolution to return to reading books last year.
To
help me keep track of the books I’ve read/reviewed for this year, I’m going to
start numbering from #1. And to avoid confusion the numbering will include the
year [Book Review #2015-001]. And as of today I’ve already read/reviewed two
books. I’m going to post ALL of my book reviews tomorrow, as I’,
As
a reminder, I DO NOT accept any request to do a book review. All the books I
review are neither the ones I’ve won on the internet, giveaways on
GoodReads.com, RaffleCopter wins, etc. Or the ones which have been written by
the other members of the internet support site I belong to, “Rave Reviews by
Nonnie Jules [http://tinyurl.com/mqo65sj].
To
facilitate my keeping track of the giveaways I won something on, my TBR lists
and the books read/reviewed I’ve used my work experience to create various spreadsheets.
I’m
currently re-evaluating my strategy regarding my various writing endeavors in
addition to waiting for word regarding the various anthologies I’ve submitted
something. Remember, if anything you’ve written gets published in an anthology,
you can add that book to your presence on Amazon.
Wishing
all of my wonderful followers here a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year,
and have a GREAT WEEK in whatever you do.
