THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE !!!

About ten days ago I had mentioned I had been considering using a new pen name for my erotic endeavors. Now with about 55% completed, up from 49%, in writing my first erotic novella completed and having gotten ideas for two more stories [one of which I’ve typed my first page] I now find the need to use one more than ever, in order to separate them from all of my other endeavors. I’m planning on posting ALL of my reviews for erotic books on this site instead of selected ones regardless of their genres. In addition to this I want to interview any fellow erotic authors regarding their writing, dwelling into the nitty-gritty of it.

These are the four names I’m considering in using and I would love to get your feedback on which of them I should use:

Beverly Ann Rogers

Kathryn Heart

Samantha E Xavier

Susie Q Winston

THANKS for your feedback my dear followers and have a GREAT WEEKEND with your families !!!  :-)  :-)  :-)

ROBIN LEIGH MORGAN'S PROMOTIONAL/MARKETING IDEAS #18

Getting a review for a book you’ve written is great, however it’s really only useful if someone goes to Amazon; you really it to get those reviews out into internet world.

If someone you know happens to write a review for any book you’ve published, have them post a link to that review on their FaceBook or Twitter accounts, and a posting of it on GoodReads or Library Thing.

You can also publish links to those reviews on your site which you feel are really great.

HAIKU HORIZONS # 7

I know it’s been a while since I’ve last posted any Haikus, but going forwards I’m going to make a concerted effort in doing it on more regular basis. This week’s prompt from the Haiku Horizon site is “SEARCH” and here are my three Haiku response endeavors:

Easter’s coming soon

Colored eggs are then hidden

Kids will search them out.

Scavenger hunts begin

Searching for items on list

Finding the most wins

I’ve lost my first love

Broken hearted I’ve become

New one I must find

BOOK REVIEW # 2017-017 - THE SEBASTIAN CHRONICLES

I won a KINDLE copy for all the books in this series from the author through The Romance Reviews 6th Anniversary Celebration, and the following is my honest opinion.

Once Isabel had laid her eyes on Sebastian, she knew he had to be hers for now and forever more, for decades and centuries to come. You see Isabel had been a vampire and nothing would stop her from making her determination come true. Once bitten by Isabel, a bite which wound up turning Sebastian into a vampire has well, his desire to be my her side became unstoppable, the mere smell of her presence drove Sebastian wild. Not only that; his already sexual prowess got heighten even more. No longer did he have to woo his desired victims to have sex with him, they’d now seem to want to do it willing and allow him to have his way with them. Little did these individuals realize it had been Sebastian’s mind-controlling thoughts that were forcing them to lose their virginity so willingly. The visual descriptions written by Ms. Travis of their erotic activities are quite vivid, vivid enough that some reader could find up wetting their own panties merely fantasizing they’re in Isabel’s shoes.

Isabel made had sure he would be taken care of should she ever fallen victim to the wrath of the local town people who were always eager to drive a wooden stake through the heart of any individual they believed had been a vampire, which had become her fate at the end of Book One.

Sebastian, as he moved through the centuries which passed around him alone, felt he’d more and more that he’ll never fall in love again [which reminded me a little of Dionne Warwick’s song “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again”.] Nor did he believe that he’ll ever find someone like Isabel again, someone whose mere presence would drive him so wild that nothing would stop him from making her his and his alone. And as we follow Sebastian through the next three books, something kept on coming up which prevented him from fulfilling his quest. Here, once again, Ms. Travis’s writing should fulfill a reader’s erotic desires when it comes to the erotic activities between Sebastian and the woman he’s with.

Book Five brings us and Sebastian to the present day and to Seattle, Washington, a place whose gloomy weather made him feel like he’s finally home. It is here that he encounters Bree, and the instant he sees her, his senses go haywire, and he feels that she’s the one he’s been searching for all these years. She has her own set of rules regarding the opposite sex, as does Sebastian. Yet both of their rules go out of the window when they’ll in each other’s presence. Sebastian vampire abilities of reading other people’s minds drives Bree crazy, since she can’t figure out how he knows all the things he does about her, and she can’t understand how he’s about to more around so quickly; one moment he’s in front of her and the next he’s behind her. Eventually Bree becomes a victim to his charms and desires to have him as her own as does Sebastian does regarding her.

As I read this final book of the Sebastian Chronicles, and realizing he’s found his soul mate for eternity, I couldn’t help but hear Etta James’s classic song “At Last” playing in my mind. And if you read the lyrics to this song, you might feel that it could actually belong to Sebastian, the way I do.

AT LAST

My love has come along

My lonely days are over

And life is like a song

Oh yeah yeah

At last

The skies above are blue

My heart was wrapped up in clover

The night I looked at you

I found a dream, that I could speak to

A dream that I can call my own

I found a thrill to press my cheek to

A thrill that I have never known

Oh yeah yeah

You smiled, you smiled

Oh and then the spell was cast

And here we are in heaven

 for you are mine...

At Last

For having her reader’s possibly reaching a climax of their own as they read these five stories, I can’t help but give Ms. Travis 5 STARS for her erotic endeavor here.

BOOK REVEIW # 2017-016 - UNBOXED BAD BOYS

Honestly, regardless of what kind of individual you are, from a sweet little thing that is still as pure as some newly fallen snow to an individual who has probably broken every forbidden sin in the book, from an individual who comes from the other side of the tracks to someone who comes from the upper crust of society; haven’t you yearned to fantasize about spending some time in the arms of a Bad Boy. If you have, then this limited edition boxed set of over 20 full-length novels is something you must definitely check and at less than five cents per story; how can you lose?

There’s a wide variety of bad boys within these stories, bad boys who are a movie or rock star, a guy who’s in a uniform from one of the armed services to a sly business mogul and everything in between. In addition to this, there’s a variety in the level of heat in the language [both dialogue and narrative] from a simply an innocent and sweet tale to one which is so hot you might be unable to stop wetting the pair of panties you’re wearing as you fantasize about being in the shoes of the female protagonist in the story.

If you’re already into reading Bad Boy stories, this will be a chance to visit some of your favorite authors; or better yet, discover new authors you’ve never read anything from. For having given readers this wonderful opportunity, I’ve given this 20+ story anthology 5 STARS.

STATUS REPORT #98

I know once again it’s been a while since I’ve last posted an update, but this time I just wanted to remain under the radar by not doing too much on any of the social media I usually frequent; except for my reading/reviewing of books, which according to GoodReads has as of today has put me 13 books ahead of schedule of reading 200 books by the end of this year.

It’s kind of strange, in the beginning, being the type of person I am, I would simply shy away from reading any sort of erotic romance novel. But now I’m finding myself wanting to read more and more of them. Perhaps this is why, even though I’ve got an adult Contemporary romance novel, and a MG/YA Urban Fantasy as two of my WIPs [Works in Progress], I haven’t done any additional work on them for about three months; even though I’m definitely interested in completing them.

For those of you who have followed my Status Reports will know, I’ve also got a multi-genre erotic romance novel which at the present time is about 49% complete. In the past several weeks as I read the erotic stories I’ve reviewed, I’ve gotten two more ideas for writing an erotic novella; which is causing me to think whether or not I should start thinking about using another pen name to write these stories under.

Some of the names I’ve already come with are:

Susie Q Winston

Beverly Ann Rogers

Samantha E Xavier

Kathryn Heart

But whatever name I decide to finally choose, I’ll first need to check to see if there’s any other author with that name; and even more it will have to be a name which I’d feel comfortable with. I would love to read your feedback on this matter.
