BOOK REVIEW # 2015 - 118 - BEGINNER READER: The Fisher Family Floats Away

This is the second book in Barb Asselin’s “Read-With-Me” beginner reader’s series of books; it’s also the fifth book in collection of books I’d won through the giveaways this author had on LibraryThing. The following is my honest opinion.

This is a very enjoyable for its intended young audience of beginner readers. It shows how an enjoyable fun day can turn almost disastrous and then just as quickly turn back to being fun. The illustrations are a wonderful addition in helping its young readers to visualize the story; and for this I’ve given this book 5 STARS.

NOTE: If the spelling smells odd or a word seems out of place it’s because the author has used the Canadian/British spelling or usage of the word. This doesn’t affect book’s overall enjoyment. Since the author hasn’t stated who drew them, I have to assume she’s the illustrator for this book as well.
