I’ve just found another writing challenge called TRIFECTA [http://www.trifectawritingchallenge.com/]
which offers different types of challenges. In this one you’re given three
words and must enter 33 more to complete your response. This week the three words are: REMEMBER
RAIN REBELLION.
This is my response:
Do you
REMEMBER the day I led a REBELLION against our dictatorial boss; the RAIN
never dampened our fortitude as we stood united without a whimper, and he lost
his voice yelling at us we’re fired.
I'd love to hear what you think of it.
Welcome to the challenge, Robin. I like the thoughts behind this . . . I see you are a retired civil servant - I work for a non-profit. Who has not had THIS boss? :)
ReplyDeleteConcrit, if you don't mind - if you do, then toss this, it's okay. :)
LEAD should be LED. And, there should be an "ed" behind dampen to make it past tense.
Again - welcome and I love this more than you can know. (Barbara/PurpleMoose)
Hi Barbara,
DeleteI'm glad you loved my first endeavor at right this stuff. I've just started to write Five Sentence Fiction from Lillie McFerrin [http://www.lilliemcferrin.com]
And about the "concrit" ,,, I never look at honest criticism as criticism, I look at it as a form of guidance/support from one author/writer to another.
Have a GREAT DAY !!!
I love how the boss lost his voice (: Justice served lol
ReplyDeleteHow else could a union person have ended it. :-)
DeleteGood job capturing a bad situation.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for the feedback. I think I'm going like doing this as it will help me get my creative juices flowing in the wonderful little grey cells in my head so I can write some more for my second romance novel. This time it's going to be an adult Contemporary with a paranormal element running through the story line.
DeleteA boss like that should be fired.
ReplyDeleteHi Sini
DeleteTHANKS for your feedback. He will be once his bosses find out what did to us which caused me to lead the rebellion. For that's for another 3+33 prompt. :-D :-D

ReplyDeleteTHANKS for the feedback. As I said in my response to Vanessa I think deals prompts will help me get the creative juices in my grey cells flowing, and could wake up the muses who visit as I sleep.
DeleteHave a GREAT DAY !!!
Poetic justice if there ever was. Welcome!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked my first endeavor with 3 + 33. As a longtime union person, that's what it was. Too bad things like this will never happen in the real world.
