This week Nicky has written a very personal entry which starts with her going to college in the UK from her native 20 years ago, falling in love, getting married, and beginning to raise a family, along with some other tidbits. And from the looks of things she there to stay in the UK. But don't let me tell you everything....READ IT for yourself.

I've been one of Nicky Well's biggest followers. There hasn't been a week I haven't responded to her blog, especially on Mondays when she offers a musical selection; and I respond with one which relates to the topic of the entry or the question she asks. I hope you'll enjoy reading it.

A MAGNETIC PERSONALITY
This week Lillie [http://www.lilliemcferrin.com] has asked us to write a Five Sentence Fiction response to her prompt of MAGNETIC. I couldn’t believe this has given me the opportunity to disclose part of the storyline of my second romance writing endeavor, a still untitled Contemporary romance.
After Jessica’s car accident, William Griffith, a volunteer firefighter, came to her aid by extricating her from her vehicle. He placed her in a sitting position against her car, making sure she was okay. After a few moments he saw Jessica trying to stand up and immediately went to her side to give his assistance, and as he held her against his chest, she felt a warm secure feeling which she never had experienced in a man’s arms before. Perhaps this is why she accepted his offer to drive her home in his SUV, and once there invited him inside. After he told her that the SUV’s battery had died and that he wouldn’t to get a boost until the next morning, Jessica offered Bill a spare room to spend the night, not knowing that this would be the relationship she’d always dreamt of having.
I would definitely love to get feedback on this.

This week Lillie McFerrin have us “WILD” as the prompt with which we’re to write our FIVE SENTENCE FICTION.
This week I decided to write a poem instead of my usual endeavors
Oh if I could only become a bestselling author.
And to have a movie version of it would be even better.
These are only the mere dreams I’ve got.
But reality is these are things which are not.
Wild dreams is what keeps me going on.

Reblogged from Romance That Rocks Your World!:

A Clap of ThunderA clap of thunder has just awoken me from my sleep as I’d dreamt of wonderful paradise. And as I adventured out of my salt-box home I saw the most foreboding sky I’d never seen with black, green and yellow blotches littered the sky, which up to a few short hours ago had been a luscious blue without barely a cloud to be seen; and which now looked like the entire world was about to end. Dead silence marked scene as I heard my heart beating faster and faster, louder and louder without any sight of any abatement in sight. I knew I had no one anywhere near me, and then a touch by someone’s hand on my shoulder caused me to involuntarily let out a shrieking scream. I awoke again to find this had all been the real dream.
