STATUS REPORT #158

I know it’s been a while since my last post, but considering what’s been happening, I didn’t have anything to say.

With the COVID-19 virus coinciding with the release of my first two Christian fiction books and what's in my prayer to the Lord, I'd stopped working on all of my writing endeavors. And now, I'm once again back completing my two endeavors, which I'd love to finish in time for Christmas. However, in checking for the sales of all of my endeavors, KINDLE indicated there's an issue with one of my books, "I Kissed a Ghost." Once I've resolved the issue, it's back to earnestly working on these two books. Here's the link for my debut Christian fiction books that I've written as R.L.Morgan:

I've just begun writing my third Christian fiction endeavor, which is going to be another collection of 50 Christian short stories and essays. I would love for those of you who are of the Christian faith to check out the two Christian books I've published; both books are only $2.99 KINDLE or read for free as a K.U. [KINDLE Unlimited]

If you're interested in knowing about what's happening with me and my involvement with the Christian faith, read my next post, "MY PRAYER."

Have a BLESSED WEEK with whatever you're going to be doing !!! 😊 😊 😊

STATUS REPORT #157

With dwindling sales of my two books, I've slowed down the writing of my two current endeavors as Robin Leigh Morgan and all of my other endeavors, so there's nothing to report, so I haven't done any postings in a long while.

My reviewing of books has also slowed down, and my getting enthralled by nonfiction Christian books is continuing as this year so far 41 out of the 50 books [82%] have been for these books. If anyone is interested in these books of any of my 1300+ reviews here is the link, I hope that reading them might be able to assist you in finding your next book to read or to give as a gift:

It's the beginning of a new month, time once again to start promoting the sale of my two books. I do wish individuals will buy some copies as it will give me an encouraging sign I should continue to write them as I'm not getting any younger, being 69 years young already. If anyone is interested here's the link to both of my books:

Both of my books are available as a paperback, and the KINDLE version is only $2.99. This is a reasonable price when you consider what other authors are charging for their KINDLE books [almost as much as for a paperback copy]; also, both books are for FREE to read as a KU download.

I hope/pray that everyone who is reading this, and their families, are well and not suffering from the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

STATUS REPORT #156

It has taken me to become an author of two Christian books to decide to use a photo to present who I am. I chose to use R.L.Morgan as the name for my Christian endeavors so I can easily separate them from every else I do as Robin Leigh Morgan.

My Christian blog has been up for a month already and I've found there's an issue connecting to it when I give out the URL address for it. I've finally figured out how to get around the issue, I created an About.me account for my Christian endeavors at http://www.about.me/R.L.Morgan, once there just click on the "Read My Blog" button below the photo I've chosen to present who I am there.

I love doing the Christian posts I do on a daily basis for a Daily Scripture Reflection, I also post copies of the reviews I've done for nonfiction Christian books. In addition, on Sundays, I'm now posting a YouTube video of a Christian hymn/song, a supplication to the Lord. And I'd love for everyone "sister" and "brother" to check this blog and hopefully decide to become a follower.

Doing the above has caused me to forego working on the two secular romance I'm writing as Robin Leigh Morgan; which I don't mind since I'm unfortunately not selling copies of two books I've already published.

Being retired for 10 years and being a senior citizen who is 69 years young doing the above is keeping my mind active; otherwise, I'd have nothing to do except staying home with my dear OH of 26 years, watching television, going to the nearby senior center for lunch, etc. REMEMBER a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

STATUS REPORT #155 - REASON FOR MY DELAY IN DOING ANY POSTS HERE

Last year my reviewing of books changed in regards to the genres of a book I wrote reviews. My concentration shifted from doing a wide variety of types of books to my having read/reviewed 118 out of the 263 books I wrote about [almost 45%] belonging to the genre of nonfiction Christian books. And as far as 2020 is concerned, so far 29 out the 35 books [nearly 83%] have been for nonfiction Christian books. You can read these 29 reviews on my Christian blog at https://rlmorgan1951.blogspot.com/search/label/NONFICTION%20CHRISTIAN%20BOOK%20REVIEWS

Each post for these reviews has a link to my review on Amazon, which gives you the links to buy the book. I

Reading so many books belong to this genre led me to write not one but two Christian books as R. L. Morgan
https://www.amazon.com/R-L-Morgan/e/B084G8JQP3

You’re invited to check these books out, and if anyone is interested in reading three excerpts from each book, you can find them on my Christian blog site that I started shortly after my publishing both books on January 11, 2020:
https://rlmorgan1951.blogspot.com/search/label/MY%20CHRISTIAN%20WRITING%20ENDEAVORS

While you are there, feel free to check out the rest of the posts I’m regularly doing, feel free to comment on my posts.  I would love for any Christian reading this, to please consider becoming a follower of my blog.

I’m in the slow process of transferring my secular FaceBook personae to my Christian personae at:
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100047543203840

I never excepted for my Christian internet personae to wind up taking so much of my time that my secular personae haven’t had any time to work on my internet presence or work on any of my earthly endeavors, but it has.

I now need to start promoting the two books I’ve written as Robin Leigh Morgan
https://www.amazon.com/Robin-Leigh-Morgan/e/B00BWXT4VU

I also need to return to writing my two current secular endeavors; however, I won’t be able to publish either one unless I get enough royalties to pay for a cover design.

So, in the meantime, I wish ALL of my followers here on this blog to have a GREAT WEEK with whatever you’re going to be doing !!! 😊 😊 😊

STATUS REPORT # 154

As we begin another year, I want to increase the amount of nonfiction Christian books I’ll be reading/reviewing. Last year, 118 of the 263 [about 45%] I had reviewed had been for these books. And with the first week of the new year already passed, I see myself being able to reach this goal since 6 of the 9 [66.67%] of the books I’ve done so far all belong to this genre.

In regards to my two debut Christian endeavors, I’ve made unbelievable progress, primarily since I’ve obtained permission from the NKJV [New King James Version] publisher to use verses from their bible and what I need to do for it in my books. As soon as I got their permission, I immediately made sure all of the verses I’d used for my collection of 40 Christian short stories and essays all came from their NKJV bible. I then followed this by completing the copyright, bio, listing of my books and endeavors and the acknowledgment pages. All that is left is for me to publish the book on KINDLE, which I’m holding off due to progress I’m making with my debut YA/NA Christian romance, “It Had Only Been a Game.”

Thanks to a dream I recently had, I came to the realization I only need one more chapter to finish writing the book, which I’m doing tonight [1/9/20]. Luckily, I’ve already checked the editing of the book’s entire manuscript using Grammarly, which has gotten turned on as I continue to write. With the completion of the writing of this book, Friday, I can add the same introductory pages I had in my first book [with necessary revisions for this book], and then create the cover page for the book.

With all this happening, I’ll be able to witness the fulfillment of my dream of having both books becoming available to celebrate my birthday on Wednesday, January 15th.  While I’m disappointed that I couldn’t have completed my two books in time for the holidays, perhaps this is the way and when the Lord had planned for me to release my two debut Christian books.

If anyone knows of a Christian nonfiction book with less than ten reviews and available as an Amazon KU or for free, please advise me. Also, if anyone is interested in interviewing for their website or blog, please send me a message through my FaceBook account.

STATUS REPORT # 153

As we approach the end of another year, I’d like to extend my wishes to all of my followers for a BLESSED, HEALTHY, and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.

To begin with, I feel a little disappointed that I couldn’t have my two debut Christian books ready for publication in time for Christmas. Perhaps the Lord didn’t have it in His plans for my writing career to have them completed at this time. I’m now aiming to have them published as a 69th birthday present to myself in about three weeks.

My fascination and enthrallment in reading/reviewing nonfiction Christian books continue as 45% of the 260+ books I’ve done this year have been for these books. I believe this serves as an indication of the kind of person I am as one reads my, at times in-depth and honest reviews. Quite a few of these books are to be read by Christian women, especially the ones that are devotional.

I still love to read True Crime books, which is now somewhat enhanced by my adoration of the Christian books I love to read/review. I’ve got to question what could have driven children to commit murders that are on par of any adult. I’ve got to wonder what could have inspired women to murder the child[ren] they’ve given birth to, and even more profound has been the revelation that men of faith could ever be men of murder [usually of their wives].

I, therefore, would love for everyone to check the reviews I’ve written on Amazon.com at
that I hope you’re going to appreciate reading.

While my erotic side has become more/less invisible for the past several weeks, I like everyone to know she has re-edited her debut erotic LGBTQ/BDSM novella and is on the verge of completing her second erotic novella by the of January if not sooner.

STATUS REPORT # 152

In the past two weeks I’ve completed writing my anthology of “Christian Short Stories and Essays” by writing a personal testimony of the Lord’s involvement of taking me from the reading/reviewing of Christian books as merely one of the genres I deal with to make it a mainstay of the books I’m doing now at around 45%,

This conversion in the books I love to read/review ultimately brought me to the writing of my debut YA/NA Christian romance novella, while forsaking the writing of my two secular romance endeavors, not to mention the endeavors I write, heaven forbid, under my erotic pen name; which then brought me to writing a compendium of the 40 items I’ve mentioned at the beginning of my post today.

As I wrote in the last item mentioned above, I stated that

“…Giving testimony is the ZENITH of a person’s faith in the Lord. While the willingness to give testimony is a marvelous event in a believer’s life, the value of the testimony grows intensively only if it’s shared publicly with others…”

Thanksgiving Day threw my hopeful writing schedule awry and I didn’t do any writing like I had planned. I’ve just got over 92% of my debut Christian romance already completed, and now hopefully with the Lord’s guidance in my writing this endeavor, I’ll be able to time that elusive final period in the manuscript by the end of tomorrow, Saturday, November 30th. After this, I’ll then start an almost around-the-clock editing process using a program other than what my Microsoft Word program provides.

And in thanking His guidance with all that I do in regards to the Christian faith, I’d love for everyone reading this post to consider what is written in PSALM 103:22 [NKJV]

“Bless the LORD, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!”

AMEN !!! 😊😊😊

STATUS REPORT # 151 - AND MY FIRST PUBLIC TESTIMONY REGARDING THE LORD

Once again, it’s been a month since my last status report, but there has been nothing that I really felt important enough for me to write out. However, recently I’ve felt the urge to finish writing my first two Christian endeavors ahead of all my other 3 endeavors.

I still have a predominance in reading/reviewing Christian books with about 44% of the 237 books I’ve done so far belonging to this genre; and since my last report of the 22 books I’ve reviewed, over 40%, have been for Christian books. In writing my reviews for these books, I always endeavor to write ones which engage potential readers in knowing how I feel about what I’ve read. An example of this can be found in a book I’ve reviewed a few days ago, William Dika’s, “Who Am I in Christ: 59 Truths to Build Your Identity in Christ”

However, more importantly, has been the review I wrote for Angie Dent’s “Covenant Keeper 2: Stories of God's Promises to Every Believer” where one of the short stories resonated so much with me that I felt compelled to share my own testimony in regards what happened to me because of the Lord.

I would love for everyone to enjoy reading these two reviews, and the rest of my reviews so they can find their next book, especially Christian book to read. To find all of my reviews, simply click on one of the above links and then click on my name at the review itself.

With my inclusion of scripture in most of the reviews I write for a Christian book, individuals have been repeatedly asking me in personal messages which Christian faith is mine. Each time I get asked I simply have to tell them that an individual’s faith, including mine, is a personal and private matter. I tell them it’s far more important to look at how an individual portrays themselves to be and what they’re saying publicly. I tell them just read my review for a Christian to see where I’m coming from and the kind of person I am, spiritually.  AMEN

If anyone would like to interview me regarding the reviews I write or the two Christian books I’m in the process of writing please feel free to contact me.

The first of my debut Christian endeavors is a collection of 40 Flash Fictions, Short Stories, and Essays involving the Christian faith, written around a prompt word – I only need to write one more item. The second is a YA Christian romance novella, entitled “It Had All Been a Game” – this story is now about 88%, with another 4,500 words still anticipated to be written before I can type that elusive final period in the manuscript.

STATUS REPORT # 150

I know. I know. It’s been almost a month since my last post and even more since my last Status Report. To begin with, since both my dear OH and myself are senior citizens, we both had to deal with family and personal medical issues [nothing at all serious]; but they did take a few hours on several days to get everything handled.

I’ve hit another milestone in regards to my reviewing of books since my last post – I’ve hit 200 books and have updated my Good Reads Reading Challenge target, by increasing it to 250 books by the end of the year. I’m also fast approaching my having read 100 Christian books so far this year, my current percentage in books for this genre now stands at about 45%, and I can definitely see myself having read/reviewed 100 Christian books with the next 10 days. If anyone is interested in reading my reviews for Christian books or any other genre, here is the direct link to my Amazon profile:

I hope you’ll enjoy reading what I’ve written for my reviews, especially the reviews I’ve written for Christian books most of which include scripture.

I had started to post copies of each of the reviews I write. But then, I came to the realization that this blog would have slowly been turned into merely the Robin Leigh Morgan Book Review site since I wouldn’t essentially have any variety to my posts besides my reviews. [No one had taken my offer to interview authors on this blog.]

Since I’m approaching reading/reviewing my 100th Christian book, I figure it might be a good time to start adding a new feature from time to time to this blog which would spotlight one of the Christians authors whose book[s] I’ve read/reviewed. I hope you, as one of my blog followers will enjoy having this new feature on my blog.

As far as my writing endeavors are concerned my adult Contemporary romance, “His Darkest Secret” is almost 90% completed, and my YA Urban Fantasy, “The Secret of the Well” is almost 70% completed [this book is also a stand-alone sequel to my debut YA romance novel, “I Kissed a Ghost.”

As I’ve mentioned previously, with all of the Christian books I’m reading/reviewing, I’ve decided to write 2 Christian books of my own. The first is a YA Christian romance novella entitled, “It Had All Been a Game” and the second is “Christian Short Stories and Essays” a collection of 50 items.

Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, I’ll have all these writing endeavors published by the end of November. In the meantime, why not check out all of my books on Amazon.

If anyone would like to interview me as an author, as a book review or both for their blog/website just send a message to my FaceBook account. Just enter my full name to start the interview process – THANKS]

So, in closing my dear followers have a BLESSED WEEKEND for your families !!! 😊 😊 😊

Don’t be shy I would love hearing from you, so please leave a comment.

STATUS REPORT # 149

THINGS ARE CHANGING

With the way things are changing with me I’m going try to be brief. To begin with I’ve already read/reviewed about 60% of the books I usually do; and while I’ve done a few more reviews. I still behind in posting 8 reviews to my two blog sites.

Last time I’d mentioned I’m up to 13 Chapters, 66 pages with approximately 15,100 words [the formatting for the Word Document for the book is that of a regular book] for my debut YA Christian romance novella, I completed this chapter by adding about 500 new words, the page count has only increased by ONE page since the prior last page only had three lines in it. Currently the manuscript is about 62.3% complete and hopefully now will be completed by the end of next month [August 31st].

I’ve changed what I’m writing for my second Christian book. After reviewing the Flash Fictions I’ve already written I’ve decided to scrap most of them, and now will be writing short stories instead. Taking the Flash Fictions, I decided to keep I’ve expanded them in order to give each one some more meat to the stories themselves. I’ve devoted the majority of my time since my last post in writing these stories, and at the present time I’ve got a total of 24, ranging from 1 to 5 pages and from 171 to 950 words. The concept for each story is the same, they’re all being written around a prompt where the letters of the prompt form the beginnings of each of the words which begin each of the sentences, or where it forms part of the theme of the story connected to the prompt. I'm planning to complete this Christian endeavor at the same time as my other one so I can have a DOUBLE RELEASE on the same day. Both of these books will be published under R. L. Morgan in order to keep this genre of books separate from those being published under Robin Leigh Morgan.

REMEMBER, if you’re ever looking for the next book for you or your child to read, I got 1,161 reviews now on Amazon.com at

BTW – my other writing endeavors are more or less on the back burners, although I might be checking them out if I get a chance.

STATUS REPORT # 148

MY WRITING PLANS HAVE DEFINITELY CHANGED

Last year, after reading/reviewing several Christian books I had gotten the urge to write my own.

With that urge, I began writing my debut YA/NA Christian romance novella entitled “It Had All Been a Game.” As I wrote in a previous post, after a brief interlude I’ve returned writing it. At the present time, I’m up to 13 Chapters, 66 pages with approximately 15,100 words [the formatting for the Word Document for the book is that of a regular book]. Currently, the manuscript is about 60% complete and hopefully will be completed in about the next 2/3 weeks.

The second Christian I’d planned to write would have been a collection of 40 poems and 40 flash fiction stories. When I stopped writing due to a serious issue which had cropped up, I had completed writing the poems, and need 11 more stories to have completed writing that portion of the book.

Since the basis for the poems had been derived from church hymns, a Christian sister advised me there might a copyright issue regarding those hymns. So, after an extensive search which revealed nothing positive which I could avail myself of to use in including what I’ve written, I’ve finally decided to take the safe course by not including these poems in my endeavor. With only 29 stories written, I’ve realized I’ll need at 31 more stories in order to make the book more substantial with what it’s offering on its page. And I’m asking you, my readers, to provide me with prompt words I can consider using in writing these addition stories.

With everything that’s going on in my life, I’ve fallen behind in posting the reviews I've written and at the present time, my backlog stands at 8 reviews, for which I’ll be catching up on during the next few days.

STATUS REPORT # 147

The second half of this year has gotten to a slow beginning; however, progress now has movement in what I’d planned to do is starting to take half.

I’ve begun to post copies of the reviews written indicating how many books I’ve reviewed so far this year and how many of these have been for Christian books. The only issue I’ve got pertaining to this is that in order for me to show movement in the other areas I want to accomplish, I’ve created a backlog of 5 reviews which I still need to post here. When I post a review, I would appreciate a little feedback so I’m able to know there’s someone is actually reading these reviews.

An area I’m finally where I’ve begun moving forward on is one of my writing endeavors of which I’ve got five.  With all of the Christian books I’ve reviewed so far this year [64 out of a total 157 books, or about 41%], I’ve decided to work one of the two Christian I’m planning to write.

The Christian book, I’m currently writing is a YA/NA Christian second chance romance novella, with a working title of “It Had All Been a Game.” Since July 6th, I’ve written 4 chapters, consisting of 13 pages and approximately 2.800 words, resulting in the book being about 59% completed, based on the projected length of 25,000 words. Given the genre of this endeavor is different from the other ones I’ve already written I’ll be writing all my Christian books under the name of R L Morgan.

As of today, according to the figures on Amazon, I’ve already reviewed 1,158 books since officially becoming a book reviewer, 5 years ago next month. Not bad for a 2nd-second career since retiring 9 ½ years ago. Both my reading/reviewing books in addition to my writing books is helping to keep this aging mind, young and active.

If anyone is interested in interviewing me for their blog or website, I’m available on a first-come basis, just send me a direct message through my Twitter account.

STATUS REPORT #146 - GOING FORWARDS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR

With the first half of the year gone, I’ve made plans going forwards, for the rest of the year.

Starting off with my writing of book reviews; so far, I’ve written reviews for 146 books of which 58 [about 40%] have been for Christian books; in fact, about 16 of my last 26 reviews have been for this genre, with quite a few being for Christian women. According to GoodReads.com, I’m about 66% completed in meeting my goal of 200 books by the end of the year, which is something I need to reconcile with my records since I’m recorded more. It looks like I’ll need to increase by goal at least 50 books, which is something I did twice last year.

If anyone is looking for their next book to read, especially if it’s a Christian book, just check ALL of my reviews on Amazon:

One thing which I’m going to start doing as of July 1st, is to post ALL of my book reviews here on my blog with the link to the review on Amazon, to facilitate the purchasing of any book if someone wants to buy a copy or to read the other reviews which the book might have received. I would also like to receive feedback for my reviews from you, my followers.

With the number of books, I’ve been reading/reviewing and my binging on watching old television programs through NetFlix and Amazon Prime, my writing endeavors have been greatly impacted with hardly any progress being made on any of them for quite a while.

Currently. my erotic side is in the midst of writing her second LGBTQ erotic novella which is currently entitled, “Becoming the Bride’s Mother.” This endeavor is now about 54% completed, with 16 chapters, 99 pages, approximately 18,800 words.

As for myself; my Adult Contemporary romance, “His Darkest Secret” is about 87.5% complete, with 36 chapters, 238 pages, and approximately 61,250 words. My YA Urban Fantasy novella with a romantic backstory entitled, “The Secret of the Well,” is about 68.3% completed with 20 chapters, 78 pages, and approximately 23,900 words.

With my being enthralled by all of the Christian books I’ve been reading, I’ve started to write two books for this genre. The first is a collection of 40 Christian poems based on Christian hymns and 40 Flash Fictions, the first portion is completed and the Flash Fiction portion is 72.5% completed and needs 11 more stories to be written. However, someone advised me there’s a possible issue of plagiarism in regards to my use of the hymns looming, this endeavor is being halted until a definite clarification can be obtained from the US Copyright Office. The second is a YA/NA Second Chance Christian Contemporary romance novella with a WIP title of “It Had All Been a Game,” this endeavor is currently about 48% completed with 8 chapters, 50 pages, and approximately 12,000 words. Since these will be my first endeavors for this genre, I’m considering just using R L Morgan as the author’s name. I’m considering posting some current snippets from what I’ve already written, as well as additional ones as I approach typing that final elusive period for the manuscript.

If I can find the time with my harried schedule, I might start interviewing individuals for my two sister blogs. In the meantime, I’d love to be interviewed by others in regards to my writing endeavors or my reading/reviewing of books. Just send me a DM to my twitter account.

Since an article I’ve written was not accepted by the site I wanted it to be on, I’m willing to post it on any website that would like to have it, the article deals with getting rid of writer’s block by writing flash/micro fiction; so, if you’d me to post it on your site, please send me a DM via Twitter as well.

Have a BLESSED DAY to all of my followers with whatever you’re going to be doing !!! 😊 😊 😊

STATUS REPORT # 145 / ACHIEVING A CHRISTIAN MILESTONE !!!

When I began to seriously read/review books on Amazon back in August of 2014, and shortly afterwards on other book review sites that I would eventually become a TOP CONTRIBUTOR for True Crime books on Amazon. Newer could I realize that I could ever reach being a TOP 1,000 Reviewer on Amazon, but I did around two months ago.

And today, I’ve reached yet another milestone in my second 2nd career of being a Book Reviewer. For today, June 1, 2019, I’ve posted my 100th review for a Christian book, since deciding to keep track on 9/1/18; which according to my figure is 100 out of the 226 reviews I’ve written during this time period. Today, also marks my post my 10th straight review for this genre, most of which have been books written for Christian women in mind. I feel this milestone is somewhat spectacular given I review a broad spectrum of books.

There’s a certain feeling of well-being I get in reviewing Christian books, a feeling which is somewhat difficult for me to explain. In reviewing a Christian book, I always endeavor to include at least one bit of scripture in each review I write, scripture which is in one way or other connected to the book I’m reviewing. To make sure I’m choosing the correct scripture, I feel as if I’m feeling guided through the internet to find what I’m searching, being guided by a higher authority making sure the message of review will be getting across to those reading my Christian book reviews.

Nine months is the same amount time it takes for a woman to give birth, and for her to sense the marvelous sensation. To be honest, I do have a marvelous sensation in achieving this milestone in sharing my honest opinions regarding these uplifting, faith-improving Christian books; so much so I’m ready to begin my journey in writing second hundred set of reviews for Christian books.

Given this, I would love for all of my Christian followers to check out my reviews. So here is the link to all of my reviews on Amazon, I hope you can find one which might be useful in your own lives, or to give as a gift to a Christian friend who benefit from the message a book might have to offer:

THANKS for being here and for your kind support.

May you have a BLESSED WEEK with whatever you’re going to be doing !!! 😊😊😊

STATUS REPORT # 144

It’s time for a belated report of a milestone, and a confession regarding my writing endeavors.

There’s a lot of stuff going on with me aside from what I’ve spoken about in my updates, and it’s basically indirectly/directly connected to my having become enthralled with my reading/reviewing of Christian books [ 90 of the 214, about books I’ve written reviews for, have been for Christian books.] This change in my reading preference had created a desire to write something which would fall into this genre; and I’d started to write two, a YA/NA Christian romance novella; and a book which would contain 40 item of Christian poetry, and 40 Christian Flash Fictions.

It had been shortly afterwards having reported I’ve almost finished writing the poetry portion of the book that I started to received “phantom” excusing of me of plagiarism, copyright infringement, etc in connection to what I’ve written, threatening lawsuits, etc. were soon to follow. I say phantom emails, because responding to any them would result in a message stating the email address didn’t exist. Still, there was a validating reference which made them seem to be realistic, which caused me to shut down my creative thought process, decimating my ability to do any sort of writing. With a recent return of these emails I decide to start researching the copyright issues which with what I had written, with no positive results, I’m getting someone to query the US Copyright Office for their official opinion regarding the status of what I’ve done, which will take up to 5 business days for a response. So, because of the manner in which this has been happening, this whole ruckus is probably due to some poor unfortunate jealous individual who gets their kicks out of doing this to other people. The interesting thing about all this is that, the individual behind all of this is not bothering my sinful, erotic side of me. Hopefully, once I’ve resolved any possible copyright issue, I hope to resume ALL of my writing endeavors by the beginning of next month.

During all of this recent ADO, I’ve reached another milestone regarding my book reviewing; because on 4/26/19 I had posted my 1,100 the review. So, if you’re looking for your next book to read, or to give as a gift for a child, why don’t you check out my reviews on Amazon at  https://tinyurl.com/y83l8h4m

THANKS for being here and for your kind support.

STATUS REPORT # 143

This is going to be a brief update.

At long last my dear OH is back to normal, and the painful discomfort I’d been experiencing in my left knee has subsided and I only have to use my cane occasionally.

Hopefully with this, I’ll be able to resume the writing of the two endeavors I’m currently in the process of writing; my debut YA Christian romance novella, working title, “It Had All Been a Game”, and my erotic side’s endeavor, “Becoming the Bride’s Mother.”  I’m also looking to increase my presence on the internet, so if there’s anyone interested in interviewing, please contact me privately via a DM to my Twitter account or a message on my FaceBook Account.

To ALL of my Christian followers, have a GLORIOUS, JOYFUL, and BLESSED EASTER WEEKEND with your families.  !!! 😊 😊 😊

STATUS REPORT # 142

My chaotic schedule of driving my dear OH for doctor appointments is thankfully over, ending at the end of last month; but for the past two weeks I’ve been having excruciating pain in my left knee. It got so bad I got forced into using a rollator so I could walk from the garage we park our car in to our apartment.

Unfortunately, with the pain from my knee occupying my mind, I didn’t have any sort of mindset to do any additional writing on none of my current writing endeavors. My erotic LGBTQ novella, “Becoming the Bride’s Mother,” still has 16 chapters, 99 pages and about 18,800 words which makes it about 54% of what I estimate will be the novella’s length at completion. My sweet YA/NA Contemporary Second Chance [Christian] romance novella for which I’ve currently given it the working title of “It Had All Been a Game” current stats are 8 chapters, 50 pages and about 12,000 words longs is about 48% completed. My three other romance endeavors are currently on the back burner, and they consist of an adult Contemporary romance novel, a YA Urban Fantasy novella with a romantic back story, and a collection of Christian poetry and Flash Fiction [having 40 items of each].

The thing which is occupying the vast portion of my time is the reading/reviewing of books, trying to maintain my being a TOP 1,000 reviewer on Amazon. The percentage of Christian books I’ve done since September 1, 2018 has dropped down to 45% from being over 50%. So, if you’re looking a book for you or your child to read, you’re invited to check out the 1,088 I’ve posted on Amazon so far.

May you and your family have a JOYOUS, GLORIOUS, and BLESSED EASTER !!! 😊😊😊

STATUS REPORT # 141

I know.  I know. I’ve been MIA [Missing in Action] Again. This time for almost 6 weeks.

As I stated last time my dear OH had been undergoing four weeks of almost daily medical treatment which had been occupying my time and my mind. The treatment has end and I’m the Dear is on the mend. However, I’ve been having my own medical issues, which thank goodness are relatively minor; the worse of which has been pain in my left knee which requires an Ace Knee Brace and a cane to help me ambulate the popping of 2 Extra-Strength Tylenol four times a day.

My progress in ALL of my writing endeavors has essentially been nil; with only 4 pages, 1 ½ chapters, 1,000 words being added to my YA Christian Contemporary romance novella and only 10 pages, 2 chapters, 1,900 words being added to my second erotic novella being written under erotic pen name. As for my collection of Christian Flash Fictions and Poetry, I’m still researching a possible issue I might have with it for which I haven’t had the time to make any progress under.

The only thing I’ve been really able to do is the reading/reviewing of books in order to keep my current status of being a TOP 1,000 reviewer on Amazon.com, Something I’ve been since February 11, 2019 when my Amazon Review Ranking was 980.  Over 50% of the books I’ve been reading/reviewing are still Christian books. And if anyone is interested in finding their next book to read, or a book for a child in their family, you can check out any of my 1,065 reviews I’ve from a broad spectrum of genres, here:

STATUS REPORT # 140

I know. I know I’ve been MIA [Missing in Action] for the past + month and there’s a lot of things which has been happening in my life. I celebrated another birthday without my wish coming true regarding selling a decent amount of my two published books. It extremely frustrating but my dear OH is always there giving me the moral support I need, especially when I need it the most, and now I’m the one who’s giving the support as the Dear is undergoing four weeks of almost daily medical treatment; which is occupying my time and my mind.

With all this going on in my mind I can’t seem to be able to concentrate enough to have done any writing on any of my current writing endeavors. I’ve discovered I might have a minor copyright issue regarding my collection of Christian Poetry and Flash Fiction which I’m in the midst of investigating. The poetry portion is completed which is why verifying the situation regarding it is very important, as it might save me from a ton of additional work or even scraping it completely [the details of which I’m currently keeping private]. This is interfering with my writing my first YA/NA “Christian” romance novella which is currently among 44% completed, but before I can get started writing it again; I’ll have to re-read my entire manuscript.

With all this going on the only form of escapism I’ve got is my reading/reviewing of books, of which over 54% have been for Christian books where I’ve always seemed to able to include an appropriate biblical verse or two for the book I’m reviewing and where the authors love the ones I’ve included for its appropriateness. If anyone is interested in the reviews for the Christian books I reviewed or any of my 1,031 reviews from a broad spectrum of genres, you’re always welcomed to check them out on Amazon at:  https://tinyurl.com/y83l8h4m.

My erotic side, Kathryn Heart, has already published her first actual erotic romance novella “The Transformation,” and is now almost 50% completed on her second erotica novella “Becoming the Bride’s Mother.” You’re invited to check out her novella and her collection of 250 Erotic Haiku “Haiku Becomes Erotic” both of which can be read for free as a KU [Kindle Unlimited] download as are my own two published endeavors. As I can used the royalties in getting my endeavors completed and published.

STATUS REPORT # 139 - 2018 YEAR END MESSAGE

For the end of this year I’d decided not to do any more writing on either the two endeavors I personally have, as well as my erotic endeavor as Kathryn Heart, plus the two Christian endeavors I’ve got as R L Morgan. I need time to clear my head, to relax, and to spend some quality time with my dear OH of 25 years.

This year I’ve achieved a major milestone as a Book Reviewer, I’d posted my 1,000th review on Amazon. I’m still posting a broad spectrum of genres in my reviews, from board pages picture books for very young readers to hot, steamy erotic BDSM, LGBT novels, and most recently over 55% of the books I’ve read/reviewed since September 1st have been for Christian books.  Everyone is always welcomed to check my reviews out on Amazon at:  https://tinyurl.com/y83l8h4m

As for this year’s GoodReads Reading Challenge, I first met my goal of 200 books, then 250 books, and now finally meeting a second revised goal of 300 books.

Looking ahead for the beginning of 2019, I want to finish writing Kathryn Heart’s second erotic endeavor, “Becoming the Mother of the Bride”; R L Morgan’s Christian endeavors, a YA/NA Contemporary romance “It Had All Been a Game” and her collection of 40 items of Christian poetry and 40 Christian Flash Fictions. And naturally I’d love to finish writing my Adult Contemporary “His Darkest Secret” and my YA Urban Fantasy with a romantic backstory “The Secret of the Well” [which is also a stand-alone sequel to my debut YA paranormal romance “I Kissed a Ghost.”

I’d would for everyone to consider getting a copy of any of my published endeavors, all of which can be read for FREE as a Amazon KU [KINDLE Unlimited].

I’d love to be interviewed for any of the genres I’m writing in, so if you’d like to interview me for your blog or website, just send me a DM [Direct Message] to my twitter account:

In closing I want to give all of my followers and your families, all of my love and my best wishes, and that of my dear sweet OH of 25 years,  for a VERY HAPPY, HEALTHY, and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
