FIVE SENTENCE FICTION - Locked

Another week has come and Lillie McFerrrin [http://www.lilliemcferrin.com
]has given another Five Sentence Fiction prompt for us to contend with. For this week she has given us LOCKED; and after thinking about it for the past two days, I’ve come up with the following and I’d love to hear your comments. This is something that I've missed doing for a while and it should get the creative juices in my little grey cells flowing again.

LOCKED IN A STRUGGLE !!!

Yes, that's what we as authors all are, LOCKED in a struggle.
We're all LOCKED in a struggle as what line we should write next.
We're all LOCKED in a struggle to get our completed endevor published.
The everyday life of an author is a struggle.
And how many of you authors reading this, as I am, LOCKED in struggle to someone to buy our creation[s].

CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN 6 WEEKS

Hi ALL

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks since I last posted something in this blog; and a lot of things has happen since then:

Around the middle of May I'd been made the Manager of the LinkedIn group "Children's Book Authors" where I cleaned up the discussion area by deleting almost 300 new discussions, all of which had been SPAM, the majority of which had been written by one individual whose posts were nothing more than a Tweet written in Twitter.  There I set up some rules there and copied them into my own two LinkedIn groups,"Authors/Writers Helping Authors/Writers" and Young Adult Book Authors."
Unfortunately, that group's owner decided to delete the entire group, which I'd have been happy to takeover myself.

In June I got made the Moderator for the LinkedIn group "Fantasy Fiction Readers and Professionals" as well as becoming the Manager for "New Authors Need Marketing Ideas."

A great deal of time since May 12 had been spent trying to promote the KINDLE version of my first YA Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance novel entitled "I Kissed a Ghost."
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CRQ9SC6   I'm still hoping to recoup the monies I've spent on this book so I can published my next one.

As far as my writing my this second romance novel, a still untitled Contemporary with a paranormal element running through parts of the storyline is concerned, I've written 12 chapters consisting of 89 pages with approximately 26,300 words. I know where I want to go with the storyline, however I've stuck on my next chapter [13] still unsure of how to handle the wedding scene, as far as the narrative is concerned.

Had a nice rest period with my OH, away from everything during a few days around the fourth of July.  Now I'm back. And I mean business.

I'm going back to writing Flash Fiction, and during regular posts on my three blogs. Going back to writing my second romance novel. And once again promoting/marketing  my first YA romance novel.

Here are the links to the LinkedIn groups I'm involved with.  Everyone is welcome to check them out and consider joining. If you're on LinkedIn, I'd love to connect with you [if I'm not already]
